Stella Davies, MBBS, PhD, MRCP, is Director of the Division of Bone Marrow Transplantation and Immune Deficiency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and is a past president of the American Society of Transplantation and Cellular Therapy. Her research aims to determine the genetic mechanisms behind childhood cancer and patient responses to treatment, including the causes and solutions for complications following bone marrow transplantation. She has pioneered significant advances to improve survival rates and reduce toxicity in bone marrow stem cell transplant recipients.
Dr. Davies received her MBBS and PhD from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England. She completed clinical and fellowship training at the Royal Victoria Infirmary of Newcastle General Hospital and at Great Ormand Street Hospital and completed her pediatric fellowship at the University of Minnesota.
